CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) STATEMENT FROM BENCHMARK TRAVEL
Our beloved travel industry is taking a beating at the minute. If you are thinking of calling us today, please consider the following first...
- Have you checked the FCO website to see if there are travel restrictions? If there are no restrictions your booking will travel as normal. If there are, your agent (Benchmark Travel) will be working in line with ABTA and the FCO and will contact you.
- Have you checked on the airlines website if your flight is cancelled? If not, your booking will travel as planned until advised otherwise.
- Is the country you are travelling to affected? No, then you are unaffected and can enjoy your holiday.
- Are you travelling in the next 72 hours? Even if you are affected, your agent (Benchmark Travel) will contact you. Most companies are dealing with bookings travelling in 72 hours as a priority.
Rest assured if you have booked with a reputable agent or tour operator that is an ABTA member and ATOL protected such as ourselves (Benchmark Travel), if your holiday is affected we will contact you in due course.
We really want to help you but this situation is beyond anything anyone could predict and we only have so many resources.
Thank You for your cooperation.

As always we will be calling all passengers that have been affected as soon as possible and we will be working in departure date order.
We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding and we will be in contact soon.

We will be calling all our customers in date order and will endeavour to be in touch with everyone as soon as we possibly can so please bare with us.
We understand how disappointed you must be if you have been effected by this news and we will try our upmost to try and rearrange your holiday for you so that you have something lovely to look forward to.
Remember when you’ve booked with us, your holidays are protected and we will look after you every step of the way.
The FCO has guidance in place for British people travelling and living overseas following the outbreak of the coronvavirus (COVID-19).
Update - 13th March 2020
Foreign & Commonwealth Office travel advice is constantly under review, so that it reflects our latest assessment of risks to British people.
In response to coronavirus measures we are advising against all and all but essential travel to some countries, cities and regions. You must check the travel advice to the country you are travelling to.
Visit the FCO Website for the latest on travel restrictions and which countries are affected.
