Down Under

Going to Australia or New Zealand used to be considered as out of the reach of most people price wise or too much like hard work for others considering the length of time it takes to get there.

We pleased to say that attitudes have now changed and people relish the idea of going ‘Down Under’ as we are now able to include many different stop-over options, with extremely good hotel prices, breaking the journey up and making it far more enjoyable. So if Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong & Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo and others have always been on your wish list, why not give one or more a try?

In Australia we offer the full range of self drive or tour holidays so whether you prefer a city holiday such a Sydney, Melbourne or Perth or maybe more of an multi centre road trip across the country then we can arrange all this for you from the flights to the hotels and car hire. Maybe you fancy a more traditional adventure exploring the outback or amazing beaches .... Australia is a country that can offer you everything you desire.

We can also take you wherever you want to go in New Zealand and this beautiful country is full of amazing culture, green lush mountains and stunning coastline.

Why not add something different onto your holiday such as travelling on the Gan Railway to Alice Springs or the South Island TranzAlpine Express or how about Cruises round the Whitsundays/Barrier Reef or overnights on Doubtful or Milford Sounds add that something extra.

Tasting the wines of the Hunter Valley or practicing Pavlova making in Christchurch are musts for the foodies. Tracing the cultural mysteries surrounding the Aborigines & Ayers Rock or the Maoris & Roturua are truly fascinating. Add in all the sporting, wildlife, cities and fantastic sightseeing and no matter which you choose, you’ll want to go back for more.

Having travelled ‘Down Under’ extensively, we promise we can find you exactly what you want at the best possible price.

However if it’s the South Seas you want, then we’re equally familiar with the Cook Islands, Fiji or Tahiti to relax on your way home, to have as your honeymoon destination or as your exotic adventure.

Tasmania

Tasmania is an island state of great scenic beauty with a rugged coastline, snow-capped mountains, deserted beaches and fabulous gourmet cuisine. The island is roughly the same size as Ireland, which makes it a managebale size for a touring or self-drive holiday. It lies just 150miles off the southeast coast of Australia, and flying into Hobart or Launceston is as easy as travelling anywhere on the mainland.

Melbourne - Victoria

Sophisticated, elegant and cosmopolitan, Melbourne has been voted one of the world's most liveable cities. It is a capital of arts, culture, fashion, food and sport, and boasts tree-lined boulevards, bustling markets, eccentric old-fashioned trams and vibrant cafe lifestyle. The city sits either side of the yarra River, with the redenveloped Southbank now a vibrant entertainment district boasting a huge casino and top-name celebrity chef dining.

Kangaroo Island - South Australia

Just a 30-minute flight from Adelaide or a ferry ride from Cape Jervis, Kangaroo Island's isolation from the mainland has allowed wildlife to flourish, in a beautiful natural reserve free from predators. Visit remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch rock formations at Flinders Chase National Park, and at Seal Bay, walk among the nation's most accessible colony of sea lions.

The West Coast - Western Australia

One of the last great ocean paradises, swim from the shore amongst the corals of Nigaloo Reef, also one of the best places in the world to snorkel with whale sharks; meet the famous dolphins of Shark Bay, and explore the river gorges and sea cliffs of Kalbarri National Park.

Perth - Western Australia

Perth is a surprising destination; a vibrant and cosmopolitan city and yet with a spaciousness that creates the illusion of a collection of charming villages. The Swan River meanders down to the bustling seaport of Fremantle whose historic architecture and museums are a window onto Western Australia's heritage. The beaches lining Perth's Inidan Ocean shoreline, meanwhile, make for an altogether 'free and easy' Australian city experience.

Uluru - Northern Territory

Few superlatives do justice to Uluru, and your first sight of this famous monolith may well take your breath away. This is the very heart of Australia, surrounded by miles of red desert, and the Rock stands testament to thousands of years of Aboriginal culture. Please note that the Anangu people, the traditional owners, would prefer visitors to choose not to climb Uluru. A lesser-known marvel of Australia's Red Centre, King's Canyon is an extraordinary chasm of sandstone walls, plunging 270m down to a tropical oasis at its base.

Alice Springs - Northern Territory

The best-known town in Outback Australia, Alice Springs is really the town of any size for hundreds of miles in any direction. This lends 'The Alice' a lively energy far greater than its population would otherwise sustain, even in summer when the mercury hovers around the 100F mark.

The Great Barrier Reef

Few natural wonders command as much attention as the Great Barrier Reef, and scattered along its 2,300km length lie some of the world's most beautiful tropical island paradises, only a handful of which are inhabited. To spend time here is to truly immerse yourself in one of Australia's greatest natural spectacles.

Whitsunday Islands - Queensland

Comprising no fewer than 74 islands, all set on the unique Great Barrier Reef, this beautiful archipelago offers picture-postcard views and endless ways to explore. Choose from sailing, snorkelling or dive trips, or just chill out for a few days and relax at your preferred island resort.
